Spread across four action-packed levels on the Gloucester Quays mezzanine, Play Den is purpose-built for adventurers aged under 10 years and 135cm. Watch them conquer cargo nets, navigate hanging bags, zoom down our bumpy and spiral slides, and discover endless climbing platforms. Got a tiny explorer? Our Toddler Town is perfect for children 5 years old and under with another dedicated soft play area for children age 2 to 5, so they can build confidence at their own pace.
While your kids are on an adventure, you can unwind at the South Ridge Café right opposite the play area. Keep a watchful eye on the action while enjoying a decent coffee.

For a stress-free party, let them play while we do the hard work! With four action-packed levels of climbing, sliding, and exploring, Play Den is party heaven for kids aged up to 10 years. Our party areas host up to 12 children each (or combine them for bigger celebrations). All you need is a £50 deposit to secure your date. We’ll even sort your digital invites. All you need to do is turn up, relax at the café opposite, and watch them have the time of their lives!

The prices show are per person. Soft play parties are suitable for children up to 10 years. Minimum booking: 8. Weekday maximum booking: 48. Weekend maximum booking: 24. All party bookings can be secured with just a £50 deposit. *Our slushies are glycerol free, but please ask if you would like to swap for a juice carton.
Our wonderful South Ridge Café has a tasty selection of food and drink to keep you and your little adventurers satisfied after going hard at soft play. Enjoy premium espresso-based coffees prepared by our trained baristas while you watch the action unfold, and treat the kids to a hot chocolate or soft drink. Grab freshly prepared pizza, sandwiches, toasties, and delicious cakes and sweet treats to turn your visit into a proper lunch or dinner out without the stress. Whether you’re settling in for a relaxing break or making it a full family outing, we’ve got you covered – great coffee included!

Yes! We stock a small range of baby foods, or you’re welcome to bring your own. For children over 12 months, we just ask that you only consume food and drink from our South Ridge Café.
We can assist with warming food and drinks for your baby – just ask staff at the café.

Comfortable clothing they can move freely in – think leggings or joggers. And don’t forget those socks!
Play Den is for children under 10 and under 135cm tall. We have a separate areas for our youngest adventurers too with our Toddler Town for children under 5 and a separate soft play area for children age 2 to 5.
Play Den sessions are booked in time blocks so please refer to the timetable to see the accurate start and finish times of each session. If you arrive mid-way through a session, you’ll still need to leave at the scheduled session end time. To give your child the maximum play time, try and arrive at the start of the session.
Absolutely! We want to make your celebration special, so feel free to bring your own store-bought cake in the original packaging which clearly displays the allergen and ingredients information.
Yes! £2 parking for the length of your stay (can go shopping or visit the Quays afterwards, parking still costs £2). Ticket validated on exit of Clip ‘n Climb
